California public school cancels 'gender-switch day'

Officials at a California public school have cancelled a cross-dressing day, following a slew of parental complaints.


Recently, students at Adams Middle School in Brentwood were encouraged to dress like the opposite sex during the last day of the school's "Spirit Week." The mother of a seventh-grade student found out about the activity and contacted the principal to express her concerns.
