Syracuse's seasonal snowfall now No. 4 on 60-year list
Syracuse, NY – The winter of 2010-11 now is the fourth-snowiest winter in the past 60 years.

The winter storm that cruised through the Syracuse area from Sunday afternoon through this morning dumped 13.4 inches of snow at Hancock International Airport, the National Weather Service's Binghamton office reported shortly after noon.

That vaulted the season’s total to 173.5 inches, hurling this winter into fourth place on the list of snowiest Syracuse winters since 1950, the year the weather service started measuring at the airport...
