Attention America’s Suburbs: You Have Just Been Annexed  ...The plan has three elements: 1) Inhibit suburban growth, and when possible encourage suburban re-migration to cities. This can be achieved, for example, through regional growth boundaries (as in Portland), or by relative neglect of highway-building and repair in favor of public transportation. 2) Force the urban poor into the suburbs through the imposition of low-income housing quotas. 3) Institute “regional tax-base sharing,” where a state forces upper-middle-class suburbs to transfer tax revenue to nearby cities and less-well-off inner-ring suburbs (as in Minneapolis/St. Paul).

If you press suburbanites into cities, transfer urbanites to the suburbs, and redistribute suburban tax money to cities, you have effectively abolished the suburbs. For all practical purposes, the suburbs would then be co-opted into a single metropolitan region. Advocates of these policy prescriptions call themselves “regionalists.”...

... In only the last century, the Nazi regime deliberately murdered about 1.5 million children (as well as millions of others) on the altar of ethnic and national purity. The children were Jewish, Romani, Polish, and Russian. Like the pagan Romans and Greeks, the Nazis also slaughtered the mentally and physically disabled. Resourceful, as well as inhuman, the Nazi’s also sacrificed babies and children on the altar of scientific progress. Hundreds and thousands were subjected to barbaric and tortuous medical experiments by “doctors” such as the infamous Joseph Mengele who after the war fled to Argentina and worked as an abortionist, killing yet more babies. When the Japanese invaded China they brutally massacred thousands of children, specially targeting pregnant women.

But mankind’s Enemy was not satisfied, nor had his deception lost its allure. In the early twentieth century Margaret Sanger, “racist eugenicist extraordinaire,” began promoting widespread use of birth control and helped to found the International Committee on Planned Parenthood where she served as its first president. Sanger acknowledged the racist mission of her work, stating “we want to exterminate the Negro population.” Today, organizations like Planned Parenthood help kill an average of 1,876 African American babies every day. Without abortion – African American women comprise only 13% of the population but have 36% of all abortions – there would be 16 million more African Americans alive today....

...Daleiden, 26, is executive director of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the pro-life nonprofit that produced the videos. He’s a former director of research for Live Action, a pro-life group that specializes in undercover abortion clinic videos. Daleiden told CT he started CMP to focus on more long-term, in-depth projects.

For years, he told CT, Planned Parenthood has donated thousands of fetal remains to biotech middlemen, who resell them to researchers.

Federal law allows Planned Parenthood to be reimbursed for the reasonable expense of obtaining donated fetal tissue. But Daleiden believes Planned Parenthood profits from these sales.

Armed with hidden video cameras and a $120,000 budget, he and other activists spent two-and-a-half to three years developing evidence to prove that. They have released three videos so far and hope to eventually release a dozen, including a new video about Planned Parenthood that debuted July 30...

Nigeria says military has freed 178 captives of Boko Haram   Two weeks after Nigeria’s new president shook up his Army by forcing out 25 top generals, a military spokesman said 178 people had been rescued from Boko Haram.

Some 150 of the rescued were women and children. The operation took place in northeastern Borno state, the heartland of the militant Islamist group. The military said it had captured one of the group's commanders during the operation...

IRS Commissioner Vows to Not Target Christian Colleges Opposed to Gay Marriage ... 'At This Time' ...But IRS Commissioner, John Koskinen, told Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, in a Judiciary Oversight Subcommittee hearing on Wednesday that he will commit to making sure that the IRS does not punish religious schools for not adopting policies to accommodate gay marriage — such as allowing married same-sex couples to live in married student housing — as long as he is in charge of the IRS.

"I can make that commitment," Koskinen assured.

However, Koskinen did leave the door wide open for tax-exempt statuses to be a problem for Christian schools in the future...
